eGunner.com

eGunner.com is an additional website I work on since PropertyRoom.com partnered with them. It is an online auction marketplace where you’ll find firearms, ammunition, and related accessories. In addition to listings from licensed FFL dealers, the site also features auctions through partners like PropertyRoom.com. One of the main issues I faced on eGunner was navigating around the site on mobile devices. The images below feature a before-and-after version of the current site next to Figma mockups of the improved version of the main pages, including the homepage, category pages, and individual listing pages.

Key points that I needed to fixed on the current version of the site:

Restructure each page to move more important information above the fold.
Improve the user's journey and navigating around the site.
Design a more appealing UI for the overall site.

Adding the filters to the category pages was essential to helping users narrow down their search if they are looking for something more specific. By using traditional cards, users are also able to see more auctions on the page at once.

The main issue with the listing pages was that the current price of the auctions was buried below the fold and required scrolling for the bidders to see. I had to reorder the layout of the page to move the significant aspects of the page, like the current price, time left, and number of bidders, so users can view this info as soon as the page loads.

Currently, there's no way for users to move around to different categories without going back to the homepage first. I created this new version of the menu to streamline the user's journey more efficiently by including the main categories and their subcategories.
